Those who decide to leave their home often are forced to flee in mere moments and leave without the necessities to start a new life, like personal documents, money for a hotel room or an apartment, or even a change of clothes and a toothbrush.

Children & Families of Iowa is here to offer safety and support for victims just trying to stay safe. The organization knows what victims are going through and offers safe shelter, counseling, safety planning, and other support. CFI is here for them as they create violence-free lives on their terms.
